Property in question was trading as a hostel some years back and was valued at 900k. It did have have a 300k turnover at that time. It has been shut down and vacant for about a year now and would require substantial refurbishment i have been told.
I wanted to know how to go about valuing it correctly and also if it is possible to find out how much of a mortgage there is outstanding on the property.
I am in the process of buying a BMV property using BM as the lender.
I was going to use equity release from one of my other properties to fund the deposit but BM say they dont allow that now.......has anyone else come across this and know of any solutions??
I have been told that if I can find someone to 'gift' me the deposit then I can do the deal.
