Looking for Property People in Scotland
I am looking to make contact with property people in Scotland. As people in Scotland are aware things work slightly differently (compared to the rest of the UK) when buying property and I am looking to develop a network of Scotland property investors/deal packagers/landlords/solicitors etc etc in order to share investment strategies and bounce ideas off.

Hello All, I am looking for some advice on a vacant property that i have had my eye on.
Property in question was trading as a hostel some years back and was valued at 900k. It did have have a 300k turnover at that time. It has been shut down and vacant for about a year now and would require substantial refurbishment i have been told.
I wanted to know how to go about valuing it correctly and also if it is possible to find out how much of a mortgage there is outstanding on the property.

Proof of deposit for BTL mortgage?
Hi,
I am in the process of buying a BMV property using BM as the lender.
I was going to use equity release from one of my other properties to fund the deposit but BM say they dont allow that now.......has anyone else come across this and know of any solutions??
I have been told that if I can find someone to 'gift' me the deposit then I can do the deal.
